Basic training
11 Troop 7T.R. Vimy Lines, Catterick camp, Yorkshire,

Trade training at Hawton road camp, Newark, Nottinghamshire. Wireless operator B3 !

Posted first to:-3 Guards Brigade, Cherry Tree Barracks, Colchester, Essex

Subsequent posting to 217 Signal Squadron AGRA (AA) located at
Old Church Hill barracks, Langdon Hills, Laindon,Essex.

 

25 pounder at Rollestone 1959Signallers and Gunners. 26 Field Regiment RA, Shornecliffe Camp 1959
26 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, H.Q. Squadron, Shorncliffe camp, Kent. Remained with them until regiment posted to Malacca Straits ..... (summer 1960)

The remainder of my service was spent driving the O/C Signal Troop, around the country on schemes.
